Kiwisport (Softball)

Yesterday was our first session of kiwi sports. Our coach was Alison. For our first session we learnt how to throw and catch. When you throw the ball you have to make an "L" shape with your arms. And when you are catching you make a butterfly with you hands to catch.

Kiwican reflection W3

Kiwican was amazing. In Kiwican we have learnt about the rules and respecting others respect means to treat others the way you want to be treated. First we played an energizer called Hoops to Hoops. This theme for this term is Positive Relationship.

PBS Whakatauki

Today we have learnt about the Maori Whakatauki what I learnt from this was saying the english words to maori. I have created a DLO of the PBS Whakatauki to show my learning to you.

Where is Pyeongchang

I created this DLO that shows how far away Pyeongchang is from Auckland I now know Pyeongchang is in South Korea. South Korea is a country near Japan. One fact I found interesting was the capital of South Korea is Seoul.

Remembering Our Summer Holiday

I heard people laughing and screaming. I saw wet people everywhere. I heard the guy next to me gasp as the cold water hugged his dry body. I felt my body start to shiver, that water really was cold. I wondered if how much time we had before closing? I wondered when we were coming back?
