  1. Hola Jay-don,

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are so happy to have you on board with us, and I'm looking forward to reading your blogs through your journey to Mexico.

My name is Dan, and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

Congratulations on completing your first learning activity Jay-don. It's interesting seeing how other cultures celebrate holidays differently isn't it? What else made you choose Mexico?

I really like your choice of country. I think Mexico would be a fascinating country to visit. Mexican food is some of my favourite food, and they play a lot of soccer there which is great because that's one of my favourite sports! Do you play any sports at school?

I like how you included the flag to show which country you had chosen. I hope you can keep blogging over the holidays! I'm looking forward to learning all about Mexico with you over the next few weeks :-)

Have a great Christmas Jay-don, happy holidays.

    Dan.

  3. Hola Jay-don! It's wonderful to see that you've joined us again this year for the Summer Learning Journey programme. You've made a wonderful choice with Mexico as it truly is a fascinating place to visit. I have never had the opportunity to go but I would love to get there one day. I have to admit that Mexican food is one of my all-time favourites. I love quesadillas, fajitas, tacos and nachos. Do you like Mexican food by any chance?

Keep up the great work, Jay-don! I'm really looking forward to reading your next blog!!

    Cheers, Rachel :)
