Winter Learning Journey - Day 1 (Activity 1)


  • Did you know that hongi is the greeting name of Maori
  •  I did not know that Maori culture is a core part of New Zealand's national identity
  •  I know that the rugby football is the most popular spectator sport in New Zealand

Today I have started doing the Winter Learning Journey. The first activity was to find 3 interning facts from this site and write it down on our blog. But we were not aloud to copy and paste.

    Welcome to Winter Learning Journey! I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time completing activities in the next few days. My name is Willy and I am one of the commenters for the programme, and I gotta tell you, I find this role an absolute joy to do.

    I like that you explained in your post what you were doing and completing, and I liked that additional information about not being "aloud" to copy and paste. (should've been "allowed", just saying, always proofread your work). It assures the reader that what you've done is in your words and is original. I'm a bit surprised you didn't know that the Maori culture is a core part of New Zealand's national identity. But, hey! You learn something new every day!
